Anti-ragging

Ragging of students in any form inside or outside of the college is totally prohibited.

We have constituted an Anti-ragging committee in our institute.

Section 116 - Penalty for ragging?
"Ragging is a criminal offence cognizable and nonbailable. It shall be punishable under the various provisions of the act and shall be liable for imprisonment for a term of one year or a fine of Rs.2, 000/- or both. In addition to the above punishment, students involved in ragging are liable for being rusticated, dismissed and expelled from the college. There shall be specific embossment on his mark card, character certificates or transfer certificate in bold letters to the effect that he had indulged in ragging and thus conducted himself in a manner unbecoming of a student. Such students are not entitled to get a passport or visa to go abroad"
